Benjamin Benoit stands as an emerging superstar in Jura’s Arbois Pupillon, having released his inaugural vintage at the young age of 23. Despite his youth, he brings a wealth of experience from apprenticing with revered winemakers like Charles Lachaux, Nicolas Faure, and Amélie Berthaut. On top of that, he also excelled academically, graduating at the top of his class in viticulture and winemaking in a cohort that included Pierre Overnoy’s great-nephew.
Benjamin brings all his experience to his family’s legacy vineyards, crafting the iconic grape varietals of Arbois Pupillon: Ploussard, Trousseau, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. He practices sustainable farming with an ongoing transition to fully organic farming. While his wines are incredible, his overall production remains incredibly small at under 900 cases worldwide.
